Fire Alarm Inspector Apprentice

B Safe Security is looking for a Full-Time Fire Alarm Inspector Apprentice in our Oreland, PA branch.

Position Summary: Responsible for the tasks associated with the inspection of fire alarm systems

Duties & Responsibilities:

Fire Alarm Systems Inspector for our Fire Alarm Safety Division. Responsibilities include inspecting and testing fire alarm systems to the prescribed standards; system checks in accordance with fire code; identifying code and system deficiencies; and preparing accurate and timely inspection reports and doing some light repairs.

Education & Requirements

· High School Diploma / GED

· Experience is a plus but not required

· Basic computer knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Must read and speak English

· Must be responsible, reliable, self-motivated, team oriented, quick learner, personable and well organized

· Valid Drivers License

· Must have clean background check - criminal and driving record

Work Requirements

· Ability to work with hand tools, meters, and other necessary industry related equipment

· Ability to climb ladders and operate lifts

· Ability to carry up to 50 pounds

Other Information

· Trainee will be provided with a vehicle after 90 days

· Trainee will be provided with a company phone
