Facilities Development and Management seeks a Fire Alarm Technician to install, test, maintain, perform shutdowns, modify and repair fire alarm systems, fire sprinkler systems, and other fire systems. This involves low voltage systems and networks related to fire alarms and sprinkler systems, security systems, and access control systems along with the central monitoring station.

This position is based at ASU’s Tempe campus and may require working from other campuses depending on operational needs.
Salary Ranges:
Fire Alarm Technician I: $27.50 – $31.99 per hour. ASU offers a comprehensive benefits package with the State of Arizona.
Fire Alarm Technician II: $32.00 – $36.99 per hour. ASU offers a comprehensive benefits package with the State of Arizona.
Fire Alarm Technician III: $37.00 – $45.00 per hour. ASU offers a comprehensive benefits package with the State of Arizona.

This position requires working a rotating on-call/stand-by schedule, performs shutdowns which may be outside of normal working hours, and may be called in for emergency response including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must pass pre-employment physical examination post offer of employment.
