Lead Fire Sprinkler Technician

About the Opportunity
This position requires the ability to service, inspect, and repair sprinkler systems for established customers on a scheduled basis and to be available for on-call rotation.
Job Duties
- Conduct service calls, performing onsite emergency troubleshooting and repairs of customers' fire sprinkler systems, identifying code and non-conformance issues.
- Interpret and apply NFPA 25 codes during testing and inspections.
- Willing to become or currently NICET certified in Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems.
- Perform Fire Pump Flow Tests (preferred, but not required).
- Prepare accurate, detailed, and timely service tickets and reports.
- Communicate with customers to explain the work being performed and any necessary repairs.
Qualifications
- A current valid driver’s license with 3 or fewer points.
- At least three years of licensed driving experience.
- Two or more years inspecting and repairing fire sprinkler systems.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of NFPA codes.
- Comfortable working on ladders (6–12 ft) and lifts.
- Able to lift up to 70 lbs and work overhead or in small spaces such as attics and crawl spaces.
- Well organized with the ability to maintain service tickets and required documentation for each service performed.

Compensation: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
