About Us:
Aoka LLC partners with municipalities to provide expert code consulting, including inspections and plan reviews. We are expanding our inspection team and seeking a knowledgeable Fire Suppression Inspector to support our mission of ensuring public safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections of fire suppression systems (sprinkler, standpipe, etc.) in accordance with applicable codes and standards

  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and communicate findings clearly to clients and AHJs

  • Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes

  • Collaborate with internal team and city officials for re-inspections and follow-ups

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Qualifications:

  • Experience inspecting fire suppression systems

  • NICET certification in Fire Protection (preferred but not required)

  • RME-General or RME-General Inspector license (preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of applicable NFPA codes and Texas Fire Marshal regulations

  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel for site inspections (if required)

Compensation:

  • $50–$75 per hour, based on experience and certifications

  • Opportunities for increased rates based on project scope and travel
