About the Opportunity
Seeking a Lead Fire Sprinkler Technician for the Fire Sprinkler Department. This role requires the ability to service, inspect, and repair sprinkler systems for established customers on a scheduled basis, with participation in an on-call rotation.
Job Duties
- Conduct service calls, performing onsite emergency troubleshooting and repairs of customer fire sprinkler systems, identifying code and nonconformance issues.
- Interpret and apply NFPA 25 codes during testing and inspections.
- NICET certification in Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems (preferred or willingness to obtain).
- Perform Fire Pump Flow Tests (preferred but not required).
- Prepare accurate, detailed, and timely service tickets and reports.
- Communicate with customers to explain work performed and necessary repairs.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with 3 or fewer points (minimum 3 years of licensed driving required).
- 2+ years of experience inspecting and repairing fire sprinkler systems.
- Knowledge and understanding of NFPA codes.
- Comfortable working on ladders (6–12 ft) and lifts.
- Able to lift up to 70 lbs, and work overhead and in small/unusual spaces (attics, crawl spaces).
- Well-organized with ability to track service tickets and required documentation.
Compensation
- Hourly pay (negotiable based on experience).
- All hours worked between 6 pm and 5 am paid at time-and-a-half.
- 4-hour minimum at time-and-a-half for emergency service calls.
- 4-hour minimum at double time for emergency service calls on recognized holidays, plus 8 hours of holiday pay at regular rate.

Compensation: $50.00 - $80.00 per hour
