The Principal Engineer is an experienced fire protection engineering professional who successfully leads projects/tasks and is considered a technical subject matter expert in fire protection.
Responsibilities:
- Be a go to technical SME for internal and external customers (clients, project manager, project engineers, project coordinators)
- Effectively communicates with clients, consultants, and engineers
- Work with company leadership to assign new incoming projects
- Solves engineering problems as the company's go to technical SME in Fire Protection
- Help guide projects to successful conclusions including doing site visits, meeting with clients, and helping navigate project upsets/issues.
Qualification:
- BS in engineering, engineering technology, science, or related field
- 10+ years of fire protection experience
- Proficiency in Revit/ AutoCAD, BIM 360
- Registered/ licensed PE (preferably Fire Protection Engineering) or senior certified engineering technician (NICET).
