Job Title: Fire Sprinkler Designer

Salary Range: $70,000 – $110,000 (DOE)
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our team. This role is responsible for designing and developing fire sprinkler systems that meet industry standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring the safety and protection of buildings and their occupants.
Responsibilities
- Design fire sprinkler systems based on project specifications and requirements
- Create detailed layouts and plans using AutoCAD and other design software
- Ensure compliance with NFPA codes and other applicable standards
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to integrate fire protection systems
- Perform hydraulic calculations and system analyses for optimal performance
- Prepare and review submittals, shop drawings, and as-built documentation
- Provide technical support to installation teams during construction
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fire sprinkler design
- NICET certification preferred
- Proficiency in Navisworks and AutoSPRINK required
- Familiarity with NFPA 13, 14, 20, 22, 2016, and FM Global Standards
- Strong understanding of fire protection principles and safety regulations
- Ability to perform hydraulic calculations and system sizing
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
