Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Fire Sprinkler Project Manager to oversee all aspects of fire protection projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and budgets, while ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and regulations. This position requires technical expertise, leadership, and strong communication skills to coordinate between clients, contractors, and internal teams.

Responsibilities:

· Manage all phases of fire sprinkler system installation projects (commercial, industrial, residential).

· Coordinate with design teams, field crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors.

· Review project specifications, drawings, and proposals to determine time frame, budget, procedures, staffing, and project requirements.

· Prepare and monitor project schedules, budgets, change orders, and submittals.

· Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and in compliance with local, state, and NFPA codes.

· Conduct regular site visits and meetings to track progress and resolve issues.

· Communicate project expectations clearly to team members and stakeholders.

· Maintain thorough project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and job cost tracking.

· Provide leadership, motivation, and support to field staff.

· Ensure safety practices are enforced on all job sites.

Requirements

  

Knowledge, Skill & Other Requirements:

· Strong project management and organizational skills.

· Minimum 3–5 years of experience in fire sprinkler system project management.

· Working knowledge of NFPA standards (especially NFPA 13, 14, 20, and 25), local building codes, and fire department regulations.

· Familiarity with hydraulic calculations, system design, and installation methods.

· Proficiency with project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam).

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specifications.

· Experience with estimating, budgeting, and job costing preferred.

· NICET certification (Level II or higher in Water-Based Systems Layout) is highly desirable.

· Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is a plus.

· Project Management training or PMP certification is a plus. 

Work Environment:

· Office and field-based role.

· Regular travel to job sites.

· Must be able to navigate construction environments and use standard safety equipment.
